Transit and erection insurance covers you for the physical loss of, or damage to, the insured property stated on your policy schedule, which arises out of the performance of operations stated on your policy schedule, from any cause within the territorial limits, other than those that are specifically excluded. Contracts that exceed the maximum contract limit stated on your policy schedule aren't covered and should be insured separately.
Transit and erection
This section covers you for the physical loss of, or damage to, property stated on your policy schedule, which happens while the insured property is in transit or being erected.
Public liability for transit and erection
This section covers your liability arising from the accidental death, injury, illness or disease of any person as well as accidental loss or damage to property.
